Tsunmai Watch

As if there wasn't enough tragedy on tv yesterday with the aftermath of the earthquake, many news outlets sat waiting and watching hoping to capture an Indonesian style tsunami live from Hawaii. The warnings issued for residents in potential danger were appropriate but to spend hours watching and filming the coastline reminded me of the weather men in California with "storm watch". They do storm watch for every barely measurable amount of rain. It just gave me a creepy jackal type feeling as the news people awaited tragedy.
