Pre Valenetine's Day Flash Mob!

Flash Mob: a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual act for a brief time, then quickly disperse.

Date: February 13, 2010
Time: Begin 6 p.m. end 6:30p.m.
Location: Pasadena at Colorado and Catalina Ave.
Details: Wear a hat. Beginning on Colorado Blvd. at Catalina, walk west to Lake Ave. (two blocks) cross the street and return back to Catalina Ave. It doesn't matter if you start on the north or south side of the street. Greet each person wearing a hat by saying "I love you." Say it in the sweetest, most heartfelt way you can. Continue walking. At Catalina Ave., reverse direction and begin walking back the way you came, saying "I love you" to each person with a hat. Don't rush, but circulate as many times as you can before 6:30. At 6:30 return to your normal life.

I had never even heard of a flash mob until an episode of CSI Miami a season or so ago. But this is my first real live event and I would love to see it as well.

I know it sounds scary but, hey, take a chance. Put on a hat and walk! We all need a few more "I love you!''s dontcha think?!?

The absolute worst case scenario is you will run into your boss or your mother-in-law and even they need love (maybe more than you imagine!)!
