High On Arrival

I just finished Mackenzie Phillips biography High On Arrival.

Her father was John Phillips Mamas of the Mamas and Papas and she co-starred in One Day at a Time. Interesting story of childhood drug and parental abuse and how she overcame it.

The big question is whether or not you found it to be credible. Many people have come out and denied the claims made in the book. But who would know better than her?

I can't imagine anyone making this up - the things she did with her father were deplorable.

I just finished this book as well. I too was fascinated by how low she sunk with her drug addiction. This should be a must read for young teens - a good lesson about hard drugs.
