Yoshida Sushi Bar

I have been going to Yoshida Sushi Bar for about three years now and I would say it is one of the best sushi places in LA. If you go make sure you sit at the sushi bar because the owner Yoshi will give you some great suggestions of what to order. If you are planning on going on a Friday expect to wait at least 40 minutes but the food is fantastic.

Another great Sushi place I have been going to in Old Town is Blue Fish. Great food, you usually don't have to wait long, and prices are reasonable. LOVE the Hot Zone sushi roll and shrimp tempura roll.

I just love sushi. It manages to be light and filling at the same time. Its great with a glass of wine or saki if you are so inclined and I start every sushi meal with miso soup.
